The person in this position will be responsible for:
Inspect the coated web for coating and substrate defects.
Advise the Production Supervisor and appropriate operators (coating/inspection or grainer) of problems.
Set up and operate the edge trimmer when applicable.
Operate the slitter when applicable.
Monitor and adjust the de-curler to produce flat plates.
Mount ship sheet paper coils.
Operate the feeder.
Set the length cut according to job orders.
Monitor, and control length-and-square to within established specifications.
Maintain operational paperwork.
Maintain the cleanliness of the converting area.
Report on operating conditions and deficiencies of the equipment.
Assist in other areas of the production process as assigned by the supervisor.
Works 12 hour shifts with the majority of the shift on their feet
Rotating weekend work schedule
At least three years industrial manufacturing experience
